Hello All Kanevans, time for another Kirt Asks, where you are the expert, not me. And that has never been as true a statement as with Ka-ching!, the new craze in the virtual world of Kaneva. What I mean is, I am no expert at Ka-ching!, in fact I am just the opposite, but I love playing anyway.
I am having a wonderful time hanging out at the Ka-ching! Lobby, chatting it up and sharing tips with all the other players who are so pumped up on adrenaline from their last game, we can’t even type straight!
What I have learned is there are games within the game! You gotta hand it to Kanevans and their creativity; give ‘em one game and they turn it into many games (have you been to a Dance Competition lately?).
So here is the Kirt Asks: What games within the game have you heard about?
Here’s one I was invited to last night: One on One Coin Race. Create a game, just two players, lock it. Use the in-game chat to confirm readiness and commit to no shooting, collect coins only! Start the game and see who collects the most coins. This is my type of game, since I am a terrible foam dart shooter!!
Here’s another one: Two on Two Collector / Shooter. One coin collector and one foam shooter on each team. The shooters should hunt the opposite collector, or protect their collector, or both. Hint: collectors like to get the energy shield before dumping coins, so a shooter should locate themselves strategically for this.

If you are like a lot of us and a not-so-good player yet, here is a tip. Find another newbie (or more) and create your own game, mark it Beginner, and lock it when just the newbies you want are in there with you. Click Start, then you can all learn to play and have fun with each other at your own pace, and you don’t have to worry about one of those freaky droid-looking, Star Wars creature, RoboCop wannabes showing up to instantly annihilate you!!

Indeed, there hasn’t been any replies to anything since … Oh … of course … Nobody’s here to actually bring up something interesting anymore … Everyone’s lost their taste for blogging since the latest “event” …

i believe all new shooters feel like cannon fodder in Ka-ching, it takes a bit of time to get a feel for the angles and not get hung up in corners, if you have trouble orienting yourself as i do, find a corner to sit in with a view and practice picking them off, just now i am finding it slightly easier to get a kill. the main problem for me is learning the game controls, as playing with a game pad or joystick is like second nature. of course if there is an app for joystick to play this let me know!!!!
